Outdoor Adventure Co – Shipping Policy

Last updated: September 2026

We want you to know what to expect when ordering from Outdoor Adventure Co.

This Shipping Policy explains our usual order-processing times, estimated delivery timeframes, shipping costs and what happens if there is a delay or delivery problem.

This Policy should be read together with our Website Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after cleared payment is received.

Processing may occasionally take longer during weekends, public holidays, major sales periods, supplier delays or other periods of unusually high demand.

A Business Day means a weekday other than a public holiday in Victoria.

2. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Following dispatch, our usual delivery estimates are:

Victoria: approximately 3–5 business days.

New South Wales, South Australia and Australian Capital Territory: approximately 4–8 business days.

Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania: approximately 7–10 business days.

These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Delivery times depend on factors including your location, carrier network, product location and external delivery conditions.

3. Third-Party Fulfilment

Outdoor Adventure Co operates an online retail model in which some products may be held and dispatched on our behalf by third-party Australian distributors, suppliers or fulfilment partners.

This means that:

  • products in the same order may occasionally arrive separately;
  • different products may be dispatched from different locations;
  • tracking information may be supplied by different carriers; and
  • stock availability may change before our Website has been updated.

Unless we tell you otherwise before purchase, you are purchasing from Outdoor Adventure Co, and we remain your point of contact if there is an issue with your order.

4. Stock Availability

Product availability is subject to change.

Although we aim to keep our Website accurate, a supplier’s inventory may occasionally change between the time a product is displayed and the time an order is processed.

If we discover that we cannot supply a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • an updated delivery timeframe;
  • an appropriate alternative product, which you may decline;
  • fulfilment of the remaining available products; or
  • cancellation and a refund for the unavailable product.

We will not knowingly retain payment for a product that we cannot supply.

5. Shipping Costs

For orders delivered within Australia, the following standard shipping rates apply:

  • Orders under $100: Flat-rate shipping of $12.00.
  • Orders of $100 or more: Free standard shipping.

The free shipping threshold is calculated based on the value of eligible products in your order. Any applicable shipping charge will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Additional shipping charges may apply to oversized or bulky items, remote delivery locations, or products subject to special freight requirements. Where an additional charge applies, this will be displayed at checkout where possible, or we will contact you before dispatch if further arrangements are required.

Shipping rates and free-shipping thresholds may be changed from time to time. Any changes will not affect shipping charges already agreed as part of an accepted order, unless required by law or agreed with you.

6. Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will generally be emailed to you after your order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the carrier receives the shipment.

Some orders may be sent in multiple parcels and may therefore have more than one tracking number.

7. PO Boxes and Restricted Delivery Locations

Delivery to PO Boxes, parcel lockers and some remote locations depends on the size of the product and the carrier being used.

Certain large or bulky products may require delivery to a physical street address.

If we cannot deliver an order to the address you provide, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative where possible.

8. Authority to Leave

Some carriers may provide an authority-to-leave or safe-drop option.

If you request or authorise a parcel to be left unattended, please ensure the nominated location is appropriate and secure.

Carrier-specific conditions may also apply to authority-to-leave deliveries.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian law.

9. Delivery Delays

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather or natural disasters;
  • carrier network disruptions;
  • transport delays;
  • industrial action;
  • peak-period demand;
  • road or infrastructure disruption; or
  • unexpected supplier delays.

Where we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will endeavour to keep you informed.

If we cannot supply your order within the stated timeframe or otherwise within a reasonable time, please contact us and we will work with you to provide an appropriate solution.

10. Incorrect Delivery Details

Please ensure your delivery address and contact information are accurate before placing your order.

If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct an address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once fulfilment has commenced.

Where a parcel is returned or additional freight is incurred because you supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, we may ask you to pay the reasonable additional delivery cost.

This does not apply where the delivery error was caused by us.

11. Lost Parcels

If tracking indicates an unusual delay or you believe your parcel has been lost, please contact us.

We will investigate the delivery with the carrier or fulfilment partner.

Where the parcel cannot be located, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law and may offer a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

You do not need to resolve a lost-delivery dispute directly with our distributor.

12. Products Damaged During Delivery

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.

Where possible, provide photographs showing:

  • the damaged product;
  • the packaging;
  • the shipping label; and
  • any visible transit damage.

Photographs can help us resolve a claim quickly but will not be used to improperly deny rights that you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please retain the item and packaging where reasonably possible until we advise you what to do next.
